The purpose for this page is to share videos with classes and others on the topic of visual rhetoric and visual literacy. In the near future, activities will be created to accompany the videos for public discussion. For now, this page is a work in progress.

This is the first in a series of 3 podcast-syle videos for an English 101 class at WSU. This video focuses on rhetoric and how messages are created to address particular audiences using specific media.
This is a video explaining the Topic Analysis Research Project (TARP), which is a research process that focuses on ensuring the topic answers three essential questions. Is the topic even researchable? Is the topic worthwhile given the purpose and context of your research? and Is the topic still interesting after conducting preliminary research?

This is the second podcast-style video dealing more specifically with Visual Rhetoric and how images and text work together to craft messages or stories.
Here is a short video from the K20 Center dealing with making claims, supporting them, and providing clear reasoning. It should work for multiple levels with a very relevant and salient example.
